If I were a major...Origin or Santos...with domestic gas supply contracts...as well as exports, id be happy to spend the money to develop a known and extractable resource if we have one - rather than relying on chancing it in my own exploration fields.
Everyone's a winner on success here, and I know the majors have their own soil, but they are low risk players and if they see us with good gas its a no brainer to look at and assess jumping on board. Saves time, exploration costs and risks of failures..
