Incorrect? I expected a very different announcement this morning.
It would be a hit to the current FY but the current health of the balance sheet could have allowed SXE management to take a write down and move on. But they didn't. They also didn't need to make the comment about material impact on financial performance in FY20 or subsequent. All this despite pointing out they had concerns over Decmil's financial position.
Time will tell but today's announcement isn't the sort you'd expect from management unless they had some very good reasons to be so confident.
