Kudos to AB for all the effort she's put into getting the word out amongst the fundies.
It can't be easy to be away from your family for weeks at a time pitching to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane based fund managers. It's easier to sell an idea to someone when you truly believe there is a high probability of it succeeding and AB definitely fits the bill.
Jus to expand on what @damosid88 said earlier (I'm sure you can verify all of this damos), the organiser from Friday's event commented on how clued on many of their investors are. There were several geologists in the room along with a few ex-executives from previously and currently listed ASX/TSX companies.
The questions put to Amanda on the day were very well considered and at times quite probing.
One gentleman, an ex CFO and treasurer/director of the group, mentioned to Damos and myself how refreshing it was to have an MD presenting that firstly genuinely believed in their projects and secondly were not presenting car salesman type rhetoric. I won't name any names, but this gentleman did mention a name or two of previous MD's that were not well received by the group.
The atmosphere was a little like shark tank at this meeting, any Disallowed salesman would get found out pretty quickly by this clued on mob. AB answered every question put to her directly and succinctly. Once again, I can't emphasis enough how well received AB was by this group. IMHO the days of a heavily discounted cap raise are likely in our past.
