In 25 years of successful active investing I've seen dozens of holdings taken over, and - even when the prior trading price seemed like fair value - all have commanded a decent premium.
This is the first time I've ever seen ASX company management of an undervalued company recommending an offer at a paltry premium.
Extremely disappointing!
