"Other Capital Management options may present" What does that mean?
The company has announced a share buy back. The share price has halved.
The company either believes 1)the share price will go lower after they announce their results, 2) or they are not in a financially strong enough position to buy back their shares, 3) or they do not understand how a share buy back works.
None of these is great for shareholders.
You announce a share buy back and your shares are trading at near record lows and you are not buying back the shares. I am guessing management are thinking the results will be worse than indicated and they holding off to buy the shares at a lower price
