IMO Ingram Micro, are an absolute j... and we only deal with them when we absolutely have to. Synnex is currently our preferred Disty.
We are currently trying to do more with DDR, but most times their pricing is noncompetitive. I'm hoping to get a bit of trading history up and see if prices can be matched. This is my only negative as all other aspects of dealing with DDR are very positive.
The Surface Pro gives added value to our business. I presume margins will be skinny for DDR & resellers however it will stop our business clients from stepping in the doors of HN, JB Hi-Fi, etc which will be positive for us and DDR. Also gives us a better opportunity to bundle packages and include them into monthly repayment options, incorporate into Managed Services, etc
DDR continue to get more and more big product names on board and the only way the SP will go is North
