    It depend what you mean by 'customers'. Usually customers of fibre optic cable would be either electrical & cabling contractors, network integrators or IT departments of larger businesses. The first 2 sets would tend to be buying direct from disties while the third would be buying from a reseller (who is buying from a distie). There are already plenty of disties who sell this sort of gear, but generally speaking they are disties who focus on network infrastructure suck as racks, cabling, switches and the like. Corning though is THE name in fibre (they make all the fibre for the NBN) so I see this more as a play which will be trading off the name. IMHO this is likely to bring in new customers to Dicker. Plenty of people are already buying competitor brands but to be able to supply Corning should be a feather in the cap for DDR.
