re: Ann: De Grey Awarded Two Exploration Perm... Yes pretty appalling about the delay in announcements following on from the media article's. DEG are really struggling to keep shareholders informed at present. Firstly this latest announcement was terribly written. It mentioned the planned survey program timing for these new leases but gave no clear indication about what was happening on the current leases that DEG hold there. The impression given by this announcement was that drilling was likely to be several years away. Judging from the further share price tumble yesterday it appears some holders take that to infer there will be no drilling in NZ for a long time so it is time to bail now as no results will be on offer for a loooong time. However, as far as I'm aware from previous announcements, they ARE planning to drill some exploratory holes in the existing leases at some stage this year, and this was not at all conveyed effectively in this latest announcement.

In Argentina they MUST have finished the current drilling campaign there by now but there has been no release about that. We don't want to wait until the results are out, we just want to know how far they got before the weather stopped them. Was the campaign completed successfully or not? It isn't too much to ask and is the type of thing that will keep the SP afloat until the Qtr report gives us a chance to evaluate the overall progress (or not) of DEG over the past few months.
