All very curious as to why an early close has been called without any explanation as to why. With the share price being at 28 cents or below since the SPP opened, I’d be surprised if they had been inundated with applications already that see them well over the $1.2m target.
i wouldn’t have thought directors would be worried about short term share price, rather they would be focused on raising the capital they need to kick the business on. One theory is that calling an early end, there is a circuit breaker to the current share price drift, thereby lifting the price in the short term and encouraging existing shareholders (even those who have topped up on market over the last couple of weeks) to take up the SPP offer.
Guess all all will be revealed on 15 April when the SPP results are announced.
