Half of you don't understand that Nomura were never going to provide the finance. They are brokers, or arrangers as Lynas put it in the announcement. They would have been super keen to find a deal because Nomura Australia are themselves loss making. They would have wanted the fee almost as much as Lynas wanted the loan redone.
