Makes the 12% pa unsecured loan from Nucharee look pretty good doesn't it, but I'm sure had they gone down the path of getting a few more million off her on possibly the same terms all the 'experts' on here would have screamed and moaned that she is ripping us off. Well now we've got the line of credit sorted on what would be standard industry terms in this high interest rate market and it's only for 6 months so lets move on and draw it down if/when needed and get the 2nd plant up and running.
Also why would a Thai bank be interested in a short term LOC for a Gold mine, you need to go to specialist financiers for this and yes you will pay more interest. Have a look at the transactions on Nebari's website alot of ASX listed companies and then go check out their funding announcements, nothing wrong with the KCN deal.
