Hang on 30 % hedging seems OK. I mean they are not going to hedge at 2 bucks an ounce right? Probably will be at 75 % say of whatever the spot is when contracts are signed. Once upon a time gold and silver companies had to hedge a lot more. The current deal is OK in my opinion.

Silver is volatile, hedging was always going to happen. Gold on the other-hand is not being hedged in some instances, i.e Kentor Gold (KGL) got around 60 million un-hedged.
