If the Notes are trading above par then it isn't as simple as paying off the debt to save $3 a ton if you pay overs for the 'saving.'
ie you might save the 9% interest cost but if it costs you 15% to buy out the notes then it isn't a good deal. You have to offer something over the market value to entice the owners to cash out early.
While I'd love to see the debt reduction announcement, I'll put my faith in Nev on this one to pay off the debt at the right time with all things considered.
