The deal fell over on 11 September 2009, despite increases in oil price up to that date. Not long ago. So from my perspective, that is probably a reasonable estimate.
However, there was a reserves upgrade in November. If you say $400m instead of $310m, the extra $90m is worth 10 cents a share which is a decent upside.
