Nectar, I am an ex-holder, still watching closely in the hope that this saga ban have a happy conclusion. . I don't doubt Mt Kare could pay handsomely, but reading between the lines, something is very wrong politically. IDC appears to be "on the nose" with the tribal landowners, the PNG govt, or both. Maybe they would just like to go back to throwing the mountain open to the artisan miners again to keep all the profits inside PNG?
If that is their aim, what a fantastic snow-job they have done on IndoChine!
Now they know where the high grade is, thanks to a $100 million donation.
