Who knows what the shorters will do, maybe they will start to cover their position at this price. I haven't seen such poor market sentiment in 20 odd years of buying shares, even companies coming out with good announcements are being sold down. Sometimes it's better to wait and make sure the bottom has been reached before diving in and catching a falling knife. It means you won't catch the bottom but at the same time it put the odds in your favour of not losing money, which is the first rule of investing.
