Last time I posted a chart was 7 months ago and I haven owned any shares since July. I sold because the quarterly results were consistently poor and the company turnaround appeared to be in jeopardy.
I post here for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I know this stock like the back of my hand having analysed every report and listened to every conference call for about three years, and believe I can add some value. Just because my view is negative doesn't mean I'm not going to post. People new to investing (if you can call it that) in the company need to understand that this is not a one-off announcement -it has been like this for years. If the company turns then I will change my mind. Today I bought WGX shares after being negative on them (formerly MLX) for a long time.
Secondly, posting my views reminds me not make the same mistakes in the future investing in other gold stocks. A bit of balance needs to be brought to the discussion sometimes.
