The AFS will be the big test and confirmation of company performance.
I don't really mind the cash balance "variance" at this stage, as long as it is offset by an equal reduction in short term payables.
If it isn't, then further scrutiny and scepticism will be fully appropriate. At this stage, I'm happy with the overall performance.
Furthermore, I've never held BDR with the view that they would make a killing at $1200 Gold, I've always held them as a speculation on Gold at $1300 and above.
Since I am still well in the black, I'm more than happy to continue holding.
Year on year, SJ has vastly improved this company.
