Yes they did also flag that Boeing, from the data being submitted for the 757 application, had identified a potential issue, unrelated to the CVM sensor application but related to the air-frame itself that may require some revision.
So they were awaiting the outcome of that before proceeding with full roll-out over the 757 fleet.
We can't catch a break but a little more time it seems will ultimately heal all wounds.
