Rather odd but might be the Indonesian billionaire PT families have joined forces including financing the successful patented DNi process CSIRO mini plant in Perth to process nickle laterite into battery ready nickel sulphide and cobalt with QPM Queensland Pacific Minerals joining forces with ASX PM1 picking up the first industrial scale plant to be built in Townsville using high grade New Caledonia nickle latterite to be shipped in.
PT Antam own the high grade Tanjun Buli mine on Halmahera island Indonesia ? whose operations were suspended when the nickle price tanked ? and co funded PT Direct Nickel a subsidary of Direct Nickel Pty Ltd who own the DNi patent which is likely where the next upscaled DNi processing plant will be built 
They work out of tax free havens and don't play by the rules so are they going to support the UTR tech or play it so they own the whole lot I wonder ?
