It’s quite possible that what we have is connected to oak dam west. There is a good reason why bhp has kept their permit in place and what we do know is that this deposit has spread out. Multiple Breccia pipes have been identified that are likely linked to the deeper plutons that have mineralised Oak Dam West given the proximity.
The Oak Dam complex is of similar size to Olympic Dam which is why bhp/wmc kept these permits for so long. Not all Breccia pipes are mineralised but the mineralising events are considerable enough to form chalcocite and Bornite and spreading occurs due to interactions with meteoric water. I would say that the results at hole two are considerable as it proves that interaction is occurring and that the hydrothermal event/s has expelled past the breccia precipitating out into organic rich black shale. It might be prudent to also test for uranium in this hole as shales can be uranium enriched.
