You do think DMT SC6 is a different product to to WMT SC6.

You do think a cost per tonne of product produced should then be applied directly to the quantity of ore processed to reach a cash cost total.

You do think PLS is responsible for extraction of Lithium from the Spodumene Concentrate they sell.

For absolute clarity, multiply the cost per tonne by the quantity stated as produced not processed.





They are both reported in terms of DMT (mathematically not literally) and the costs are net of Tatalum credits so you won't have to hurt yourself by trying to add those in yourself.


NOW: Why is it beneficial to report in terms of DMT instead of WMT for finished product?

1: It is easier to directly compare against reported sales pricing that is stated as DMT CIF China as it saves you the trouble of guessing the moisture content in any given period.

2: The moisture content typically varies when measured at time of production at the plant and when it is loaded onto a bulk carrier.

I previously posted some MIN figures that should have easily demonstrated how much these WMT numbers can vary due to factors like drainage. The screenshot also states that due to requests from the market they would be reporting on a DMT basis going forward.



FINALLY: What do PLS reported cash costs include? They spell it out in plain English in their reports.
