Unfortunately it's too late for me. If this results in future legal action against him, no doubt I'll be dragged into it.
At least he is fully aware now that deliberately posting misleading information on a stock discussion forum may have real life actionable consequences.
If it is a continuation of some game he is simply making matters worse for himself.
I would prefer to believe he is just stupid.
