I absolutely don't think that SFR were outsmarted on the purchase of MATSA.
I continue to think they purchased it at a great price, given the future forecast demand of copper.
What needs to be considered is that the cost guidance released yesterday was only for the remaining 5 months of production. It's not a forecast cost going forwards, and it doesn't consider any mine planning optimisation that SFR are planning to undertake.
