SGC are an exploration company that has just started to turn some money, It's pretty obvious this thing cycles as most exploration companies do. Chart history confirms one thing, They explore, and unfortunately they just haven't hit the pay dirt, but one thing is for certain and that is they haven't failed at and that is exploring. Have they given up ? No. Has the price been higher before Philippines was even a thing, Yes. We have been in a flush out cycle for nearly 12 months now with some promising exploration coming up, cash coming in and the register is held quite tight if you look at daily transaction throughout the last few months in particular. Tindalo was an unlucky hit but it confirmed there is a bucketload of resource available in the area and the sweet spot if there is one just has yet to be found, We could get lucky, We might not.. that's the game! As far as the Philippines is concerned all the political noise is aimed at China $$ and making sure that people know it's not cool to have any association with China $$. What they do desperately need is non Chinese investments and more so now then ever with the prospect of Malampaya going tits up. I doubt they want to f*ck up this opportunity presented with BS/SGC, It would make no sense for them to scare what they are in need of away. From what I have read Cusi has seen this Malampaya issue coming a mile away and stated last year he was ready to fight the matter in the courts. Does that mean the DOE just shutdown and stop doing their jobs? Time will tell. Regardless, There is an opportunity here and with very little buying or selling and if the day comes when interest on the buy side picks up it is indeed an exciting prospect. If it Takes months or a year, It's still an exciting development.
