I wonder if the management knows that an ASX listed company called Lepidico (LPD) developed and patented a process to extract Li out of Lepidolite in a fairly simple and cost effective way.
They have a pilot plant up and running and they seem to be successful in making battery grade Lithium Hydroxide from Lepidolite.
It would be obviously better if the mineralisation at the OBM tenaments was spodumene primarily, but lepidolite wouldn't be the end of the world either.
Based on the perceived sentiment of OBM's recent updates, I have serious doubts whether the management knows that lepidolite based Li mineralisation can be valuable as well. What do you guys think? Also, if someone talks with them, can you please confirm?
