Please don’t take this as optimism, I’ve forgotten what that is.
The Virtual Power Plant concept would have seen some very profitable 30min block to sell into last 1/4. As the market is moving to 5min blocks, more opportunities to sell with minimal impact on the customers will arise. Scaling Solar with batteries if funded by the client via 3rd party finance means LPE can play this market with no capital outlay, banking the savings to claw back gross margin. Yes, the way out of this hole is to dig deeper (get bigger and play the VPP well), but can they execute?
