There are a lot of elementary maths to consider with options. Recent PUR options with a strike price of $0.10 hung in to the death knock because their drilling at the time showed great promise, but in the end didn't live up to expectations & they became worthless. They need your full attention at all times because something so simple can become quite complex, if the company doesn't have the drills spinning, or assays wont arrive in time to add value, then they are likely to become worthless. But a $0.01 strike price can be a big help.
