GDX up 7.16%. HUI up 7.88%. Newmont up 6.04% and Barrick Gold up 8.67%.
Barrick increased production but cut AISCs by 4-6%.
NST increased production but AISCs increased by 2.3%. The BOD has said all along that guidance is askewed to H2FY22. They still affirm their FY22 guidance.
With the price of Oil approaching US$90, inflation looms. The price of Gold will respond to that HOWEVER the costs of production will increase with the price of energy.
I'm feeling confident NST will achieve production guidance but the AISCs of producing has a ?
Pronounced Sector turnaround should push this back up over $10 soon.
