I saw the same podcast. They were quoting like 70% usage rates ex battery factory. And in the graphs they presented, showed that the wastage of 30% had plateaud over the last 3 years (was far worse than 30% previously). This is a factor that a lot of analysts are not realising when looking at the supply and demand equation. Take 30% out of all of your supply side equations and the Lithium deficit is massive.
