Financial reports come out at prescribed times which are usually in the last week of the month:
-H1 August
-FY February

Quarterly updates are operational, not financial and are delivered in Jan, Apr, Jul & Oct.

The reports are summary documents which take time to collate. In particular the financial statements are audited to ensure accuracy so they take the additional month to come out and are down twice per year instead of 4 times.
