That is very fast welding with KTG
There was a video KTG had of welding pipe that looked around 2.5 M in diameter , think it was a company in South America maybe Argentina doing it .
what thickness pipe are you welding , how big a gap between pipes and do you have to bevel the pipe 45 degrees to weld it with KTG , and what type of metal grade of steel are you welding ?
Guessing for gas/ steam or water pipe the welding can be fully automated for repeat welds but wonder if KTG pipe welds can be done in the field trench or before laying in the trench rather than only back at the work shop .
Guessing KTG can do 6G welding or is it only just vertical down welding with the pipe rotating below the weld flame .
