I listened to the segment too, which is what brought me here, so should probably be clear to say it wasn't Roo that gave the tip but a caller into the show.
But then again, how many people anonymously call into the show like that.
I usually suspect when news like this leaks, it is for a reason and that reason is never to inform. Half expect the angle is the caller was a local trying to drum up some backlash before the announcement to make them reconsider.
