Hi Suge, think you have hit the nail on the head. The seemingly last minute change re Kwinana seemed to really knock everybody’s confidence. At the time I said I hoped something large is driving it, I am still hopeful and a “major battery manufacturer” wanting a site in the USA would certainly fit that bill. Why we hadn’t moved on the USA earlier was always a question of mine so would be happy to see them moving that way.
The other complication I guess is the new reliance on Tanzania, they really need to get that all happening, some good stuff re “green” electricity, which should substantially reduce opex as well as CO2 emissions compared to using diesel, and road/rail infrastructure but they need to get it all finalised, funded and happening. If big players really want some graphite then it shouldn’t be too difficult, time for the big players to step up I guess.
