With WHC, did you ever think that the current and future thermal coal price had anything to do with their decision to have a lower dividend? Thermal coal price isn't exactly very high is it. It's around $220 USD now. Who would've thought Thermal coal price would tank in a short amount of time? So I think it is prudent to conserve cash. Do you think at these levels WHC is going to make anywhere near the cash they made in the December qtr? No chance.
Anyway, I came on here to find out why Stanmore does not advise market on mining costs, average coal price attained etc etc. Aren't you all flying blind? I held it for over a month and did well but only did it because it got punished at the time but cant remember why.
Anyway the share price has been flying but other than bringing on more production, met coal price flying and selling met coal I don't get why it is flying with such little information it releases.
