It was oversold.
Thankfully we are selling at $3040 and not still hedging at $1850. Our profit above the higher AISC is still over $1,000. Better than $1850 over $1400 or thereabouts.
BUT GOR bod need to come out with a plan to fix this. A letter to shareholders as to why it happened, why they didn't take action 3 months ago and how they plan to fix it. Depending on interest rate cuts overseas and locally later this year it is likely to be 12 months before we get back to $2.
