I don't think MLX is 50% chinese owned. The renison mine is jointly owned 50-50 with Yunnan tin.
But MLX itself to the best of my knowledge is not 50% owned by the chinese. APAC which is based in Hong Kong owns about 20 % of MLX.
I think the attractiveness of SRZ to MLX hinges on MLX's success in increasing the tin reserves at Renison (MLX have been quite successful so far in finding new deposits), the milling capacity of the renison mill, and the cost to MLX of developing Rentails (ie the tailings reprocessing)
Also, SRZ probably needs more drilling success to become attractive to MLX.
I own MLX and SRZ.
