The US met coal stocks have doubled this year and AMR for example is now trading on 11-12x FCF.
The valuation difference is the largest this cycle.
Regal knows the stock well and has been increasing its holding.
Special dividend showed confidence that spare cash should continue to accumulate and be paid back to shareholders.
