When it comes to gold, everything starts in the year 2,000. Did you take into account the rent a house generates? Go a few years either side.
Gold has no income...it's a dud, anyone who thinks they're going to get rich 'stackin' is suffering from delusions of grandeur.
In 1979 it took 200 ounces of gold to buy a house in Sydney, now it takes 450 ounces.
