Also I want to point out that I am not against property investment, good luck to those that have invested many many years ago (preface by saying Australian RE) as no doubt have done well. It’s not like you have to have only real estate or only gold. When people state gold is going to go to “x”.price. People need to put the case up why they think that is the case.
I think gold will be around $2100-$2500(usd$) in next 12 months. Based on geopolitical factors , QE policy in the USA, central bank buying and the rise of the emerging market economies. What could upset this balance is if there are central controls in China on buying accumulation of gold. With 30% of the Chinese economy based on real estate investment, I would also suggest that not only India but Chinese population will move.warm to accumulate gold and favour over speculative real estate investments IN China….
that’s my thesis anyway.
Also I want to point out that I am not against property...
