I wonder to what extent EVN’s quarterly result, and the resulting fall in its share price, might have made it a takeover target.
If I was NST, I’d be interested in EVN’s Australian mines. I would not be interested in Red Lake, and would not have my ego invested in Red Lake so that I was reluctant to sell it if I bought the whole company.
