Unfortunately I think Citi etc have the perfect out.
The advice will go something along the lines of - Better than expected quarterly for LTR with net positive cash flow of ~16M (forget about the fact that they were either incompetent or deliberately manipulating to miss the companies signals) THEREFORE our recommendation is LTR is now a speculative ACCUMULATE/BUY for risk tolerant investorsCOUGH COUGH WINK WINK
