The US$POG looks technically shaky - the US$ is strengthening...

The US$POG looks technically shaky - the US$ is strengthening and supposedly the IOUSA economy, with the DOW near record highs (previously unimagined) .... but it is an election year and the pump priming is on steroids, and the FED and others will do their utmost to avoid a recession and market crash.
Meanwhile the A$POG remains at high profit levels, bolstered by an anaemic A$, which looks likely to remain weak and uncertain because of doubts about China's economy (Evergrande etc), ME worries and local economic uncertainties secondary to cost of living, particularly the cost and (lack) availability of real estate, the insurance crisis for flood affected areas and last but not least (for the mining sector) continuing labor shortages and cost inflation, resulting in margin pressure ..... which is putting a cap on some gold miner darlings and is a terrible CR environment for would be greenfield developers.
This is a very challenging environment for company BOD and management to navigate safely, and RED especially will out to remain stabile and on track, and hence "out performance" will be difficult till the "shackles" of debt and hedging are removed IMHO.
KOTH strategic value is enhanced in such an environment hence its optimisation must remain number one priority (along with getting debt reduction and maintenance of an adequate cash buffer, in case of a market correction and / or a retreat in the A$POG ).
HOLD if you're optimistic, SELL some if you're not ....
