I refer to ywtoh's post #34659238 on where he attended at SIWW conference last year for which we are much indebted to him. He said:

"I also hung around at the booth over 3 days and got to speak to delegates who came to visit FLC's booth and asked for their perception of Aspial and SUBRE. These are water professionals. Majority of them said they have ignored the rural markets in China because the economics do not justify attention. They don't have a product that meets opex and capex of local governments. But all I spoke to were interested in SUBRE. This is my conclusion: the retrofit market is where FLC must make it or break it with MABR. IIan is aware of this. Assured me they don't want to rush with the installation of SUBRE in Israel because a lot of data generated will be heavily scrutinised. They want the installation and the running of it to be perfect."  Thanks to ywtoh.

Now fast forward to the latest quarterly update on page 4:

"Fluence is actively quoting SUBRE (submerged MABR) projects for potential clients in China and in other keymarkets and continues to focus on the full commercialisation of the product in the first half of 2019. TheSUBRE product is designed to be utilised both for retrofitting or upgrading existing, centralised wastewatertreatment plants, as well as in the construction of new wastewater treatment plants."

The conclusion that can be drawn from from the confluence (forgive the pun) of these occurrences is that we could see the take off of SUBRE later this year.

Definitely green shoots . .
