I think it is difficult for a company to publicly announce something prior to a formal deal being completed.
For instance can you imagine if they are in confidential commercial discussions with other 3rd parties, what an annc would look like to communicate that??.
For a start confidential agreements get in the way even a mention that we are in discussions with various companies would be very premature and seen as "ramping" by a company. For a start it leads to innuendo and market speculation and then possible fallout if a deal doesnt work out with those parties for any host of reasons..
yes it would be great to know all the ins and outs of a company's activities and the discussions that take place, but i feel unfortunately releasing that as public information is premature, open to speculation and then potential let down.
And before anyone thinks i know what is happening i have no idea, just noticing on the price chart its SP increase of late.
time will tell...
