When there is a lack of leadership from the board and Ceo's, high salaries are usually paid in an attempt to buy locality. It would seem that the GM's in this instant have their heads in the sand and are either unable to read the writing on the wall or incapable of earning similar salaries elsewhere. Either way would indicate that the calibre of management needs a lot to be desired.
Will daddy's boy step up and save the day?? I fear not
