I saw this same sort of many thing occur many, many, times at the races over the years, a favourite with everything in it's favour gets ignored because it's opened too short or some rumour goes around about it and it then gets to a silly price before invariably tightening again in the market.

From what I've seen of the market the same factors continually come into play here, dumb and panicked thinking.

Doesn't mean I'm right of course but that's my line of thought.
