I wouldn’t be surprised if whoever may be looking to take out NXM is actively in the market buying this dip today.
60-65 cents would probably get them over the line and that would mean someone gets the lot for 180-200 million dollars. Not bad when you look at all the potential upside and not bad for the buyer when you consider RMS took out Apollo for around 160 million for a 1 million ounce resource.
The longer they wait the more it’s going to cost and the market clearly sees value at around 35 cent just with all the RC drilling completed to date.
What were the sellers selling under 35 cents thinking.
I think it’s on if Branches delivers and if there is mineralisation at Solomon we will get taken out sooner rather than later unfortunately.
