Your statement "You cant cross between yourself ' well you can but it would be illegal probably a wash trade , however I am sure fund managers do transfer shares between funds legally via a broker that to me is often via a cross trade that is an example of what I am referring to .
I suspect I see often the result of a crossing movement via changes in the top 20 on company Annual reports from one year to another where there are several entities ultimately owned by the same parties ("but not between yourself ") as different trusts companies or funds on the top 20 and the same total shares owned one year to the next but have been rebalanced for what ever reason.

I did call my broker today regarding the trades today at $.1175 and asked if they could do a trade at that price for me , but no can do they have to submit the buy limit trades in half cent increments just like traders do .
