I was saying he can sell part of the position in DeepGreen without the capital gains dragging down NTA. There are clearly a bunch of losses and credits sitting on the balance sheet as this is the only way the post tax NAV can be higher than the Pre- Tax NAV.
It's nothing to do with your holdings tax position, rather the LIC's tax position
